As every year, El Gato fills with lights, Christmas details and a beautiful tree to create the special atmosphere residents and visitors look for during the holidays.
Come as a couple, with friends or with family. You will find the same fusion cooking and personal service, surrounded by decorations made for celebrating.
At Christmas we serve our regular à-la-carte menu at our regular prices. A special evening does not need to produce an extraordinary bill.

El Gato is on Calle Casablanca, only a few steps from the centre and nightlife of Torremolinos. It is an easy meeting point for anyone who wants to celebrate without complicated travel arrangements.
Our complete à-la-carte menu remains available with its usual variety and prices. You remain free to choose exactly how you want to enjoy the occasion.

El Gato closes on 31 December and 1 January so that the people who make every evening possible can enjoy the holidays with their families. We will be delighted to welcome you back on 2 January.

Is El Gato open on Christmas Day?
Yes. We open for dinner on 25 December.
Are you open on Boxing Day?
Yes. On 26 December we open exceptionally for both lunch and dinner.
Is there a compulsory Christmas menu or higher festive pricing?
No. We serve our regular à-la-carte menu at our usual prices, without a Christmas surcharge.
Is El Gato open on Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve?
No. We close on 24 and 31 December. We also close on 1 January and reopen on 2 January.
Do we need to book?
Advance booking is strongly recommended, particularly for dinner on 25 December and lunch or dinner on 26 December.
Do you also host company Christmas dinners?
Yes. We welcome groups and company dinners throughout December. Ask about availability and our group options.
