What do our Customers saying about us?
Ended up eating here regularly during my stay in Benalmadena. Food is of a high standard and it is great to see the extra effort put in by this place for both the food quality and presentation. The mega bruschetta, shrimps in crispy dough and the bitterballen come highly recommended. The owner and waiting staff are all welcoming. The food is reasonably priced for what you get. 4 of us ate here at our last night in Torremolinos. We traveled for 2 weeks throughout the southern part of Spain and this was by far the best food we had the entire trip! I had a strawberry and cheese salad and Shrimps Pil Pil. For dessert, ice cream with sherry and soaked raisins. The owner and wait staff were very pleasant - across from Gato Beach - great seating in an indoor/outdoor setting. Visited May 2013

My girlfriend and I recently visited this hidden gem whilst on holiday. We are seasoned eaters, so we know a good place when we see one. One word to describe this place 'wow'. Situated on the beach front there was an element of casualness despite the intricate and tasteful decor of the restaurant. We ordered the 25 euro tapas to share. Very good value for money. Not only was there a real variety of delicacies (12 individual dishes), they were also very tasty. What also made this place tick was the fact that there was a very pleasant atmosphere with the restaurant practically at full capacity. Will definitely be returning to this establishment.
El Gato- the worlds pleasantly surprised are an understatement. There is more to this restaurant than meets the eye. My boyfriend and I chose the €25 tapas to share and we were blown away. The dishes were presented incredibly with a modern style creating a sophisticated feel. The food could not be faulted and out of the 12 tapas not one did we dislike. I would happily go back without a second thought. El Gato is a must especially if you want to try the Spanish cuisine. If you are wanting the full atmosphere I would visit around 9pm as they have fancy lighting which adds to the experience not forgetting that the place is overlooking the sea front!Visited July 2013Melissa Stevens
We had a two-week vacation in Costa del Sol about a week ago with my boyfriend, We ate at El Gato Lounge many a couple times, because from the beginning we knew that this place was special. The food was super delicious, high quality and the portions were also beautiful. The place was very comfy and had a nice view of the sea. But the thing we were most happy about was the service! Every time we came there it felt like coming home! They started to feel like friends! This is absolutely the best restaurant we visited in Costa del Sol, not only in Torremolinos. Prices were very good for the high quality food and drinks, menu was very well planed and I wish I could have tasted all the meals they had! I wish I could come back one day! Good job guys! We ate here after reading about it on trip advisor, the food was 1st class and so was the presentation of the food. We had the box meal at €25 for two people excellent choice. Also a great place to people watch and listen to the sea while eating your meal. We enjoyed it so much on our 1st day we have been back again last night would definitely recommend to anyone staying nearby. Visited June 2013

“Nice food with good ambience”
Had one lunch and one evening meal here during a recent visit. It is a tapas themed restaurant with a wide variety to choose from, but they also have mains like burgers etc. Location on the promenade offers a great view of the passers- by, and the service is friendly and efficient. Prices are good, our dinner meal was 38 Euro including one starter, two mains, ( curry and a burger) and one bottle of wine. Good value.

“Wish we found it sooner”
Fantastic bar, great staff, we chose to eat elsewhere on our last night of our holiday, but returned here later in the evening for some drinks. Really regretted not eating here as the food looked fantastic, the staff were really friendly and it was a great atmosphere. The hotel we stayed in was awful so we wish we'd found this sooner to spend our evenings here. Would definitely like to come back. Visited June 2013
